Resume of Milan

A review of the days in Milan with “Ownzown”, a stealth cap for public space:

 

the response of our studies in urban space in Detmold, Bielefeld and especially in Ventura Lambrate during Milan design week was overwhelming. Hardly anybody took not note of the supposedly erring crystal, which intention was not directly accessible to the majority, but was for many – particularly for our target group design and architecture enthusiasts – understandable. “Ownzown” was rarely viewed as a serious product proposal and accordingly questioned. We were rather surprised how many people divined and understood our message, that it was primarily a statement, to start a “staged” contribution to the discussion about our relation with things and to space, especially public space.
